In response to the direction we witnessed the market heading, we started the ICON brand. ICON is focused on capturing the vintage aesthetic of classic vehicles, but married with high end custom engineering to provide a distinctly evolved mechanical experience. Please look into our brand, and I trust you will discover we take great pride in our work, and obtain a higher level of perfection that you are likely to find anywhere else. International shipping arranged with ease, local visits and test drives welcomed. We are in Chatsworth, California. We are a licensed and registered Ca dealer. All buyers will pay an additional $150 document fee. In State buyers will owe Ca sales tax and DMV. Here is a super nice 1980 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ43 that was previously available on ebay

Up for your consideration is this super rare (In the US) 1980 TOYOTA LAND CRUISER FJ43. Everyone looking at this ad obviously knows the amazing history these vehicles have. This is a wonderful example of a vehicle of this caliber and one that every collector must have. It was imported from south America and originally from JAPAN. The FJ43 is basically an FJ40 but its body is just a little bit longer. It has been completely restored from the frame up. It has a rare soft top that looks magnificent. The olive color on the outside is beautiful. The work on the FJ was done professionally and is superb. It has original wheel bead locks and brand new NOS general tires. This vehicle is a basic model. That is how most of these utility vehicles were imported. Due to the sub tropical climate of the area where the vehicle was stored and resided most of its life there is absolutely no rust on the body anywhere. The interior seats and floor covers are all new. The vehicle come with the original 2F Inline 6 cylinder that runs amazing. You will find no smoke, knocks and pings from this wonderful motor. It almost seems it came out of the factory. The 4WD system works perfectly. Lights, horns, turn signals and brake lights work great.

T O Y O T A F J 4 0 L A N D C R U I S E R 1979 (Low Orginal Miles!)

Great story and a great looking truck! This beauty is currently available on eBay

O R I G I N A L 1979 T O Y O T A F J 4 0 L A N D C R U I S E R

I am selling this extremely low mileage 1979 FJ40 Land Cruiser beauty which is in pristine condition. I first saw this immaculate truck in 1996 in Runnemede, NJ in response to a classified ad. I took it for a test drive that afternoon and it was love a first sight. It had only 28,000 miles on it and looked factory new and drove like a new truck. The owner said he bought it from the original owner who had it in storage. I went home to get an ok from the boss and phoned the owner that night only to be informed that he had just sold it. Needless to say, he broke my heart. I continued my search for another cream puff FJ40 in the Philadelphia & New Jersey region but FJ40’s are scarce in this area. I finally responded to a Philadelphia newspaper classified ad in 1998 for a 1979 that turned out to the one I tried to buy in 1996.

It now had 32,500 miles and still in the same immaculate condition as when I first saw it two years earlier. I bought it on the spot and since have had many happy years with this awesome truck. Sadly to say, I must sell my faithful and beautiful FJ40. I have recently retired and in the process of selling our much too large home and we are going to downsize to a condo. My truck has only about 37,500 miles on it now. I only put about 5,000 miles on it over the past (15) years due to a demanding international traveling schedule. This truck has been spoiled and always maintained with frequent oil changes and coolant changes even though it had low miles. It has always been garage kept and has never seen a night outside. After rain, it was always wiped dry.

This FJ40 is truly a “Garage Queen”.The exterior and interior paint (031) is in immaculate condition. I was told by the second owner that the paint was original as was the brown striping which was dealer applied. There are no dents, dings, chips, scratches or rust. The truck has ambulance doors with a factory swing out spare tire rack. The fiberglass reinforced steel hardtop is removable. All doors are in mint condition with mechanically perfect operating windows and locks. Steps are in mint condition. All glass is clear with no chips or cracks. All metal Toyota emblems are intact and in excellent condition. The interior paint (031) is in excellent condition. There is a factory roll bar along with (2) opposing fold down seats. Head liner is white and in excellent condition. All seats are vinyl and grey and equipped with seat belts. Door panels are matching grey. Door panels and seats are in mint condition except for some slight fraying on the driver seat bottom about 2″ long.. The dash board is black and in mint condition with no cracks or fading. Front black Toyota floor mats are in excellent condition. The front heater and blower along with rear floor heater work great in the cold weather and operate perfectly. Rubber boots for transmission and t-case floor shifts are in excellent condition.

All gauges, speedometer, odometer are in perfect condition with wipers that always park properly. The cab is perfectly tight with no air or water leaks. The 2F (4.2 L, in-line 6) is strong and in excellent condition. A new catalytic converter and exhaust piping was installed this past summer. I have never registered this truck in New Jersey as an antique vehicle, therefore, it was always subject to New Jersey’s strict emission standards during bi-annual inspections. It always met the standards and I have copies of all the inspection results. The brakes and e-brake are strong and there is no squeaking, squealing or pulling. The engine compartment is exceptionally clean. The hood and its latches are in excellent condition. Tires are GoodYear P235-75R-15 (90%+) tread that are mounted on the original steel wheels with original chrome hub caps. The wheels original grey color was replaced with a dark brown color to match the exterior striping. The swing out spare tire rack has a never used spare matching tire. The truck has black fender flares and a locking fuel access door. Also, the original Toyota jack kit and repair tool bag are included.

Console mounted TUFFY LOCK-IT-BOX complete with a PIONEER radio-cassette player with dual cup holders. The box is grey and floor mounted between the front bucket seats. All in excellent condition. 2 rear mounted SPARK-O-MATIC speakers.SHARP CB radio mounted behind driver’s seat. Ooga horn

Toyota Land Cruiser BJ41 1980 (Very Clean!)

Here is a very rare bird  available on currently available on eBay:

Toyota Land Cruiser BJ41

The Toyota Land Cruiser 40-series is known as a legendary platform around the world. In the US, most are familiar with the FJ40 model, a gas-powered 4×4 available up until 1984. This vehicle is designated as a BJ41, a diesel powered variant available exclusively in the Japanese domestic market (abbreviated as JDM). As an importer of 4×4 Land Cruisers, I couldn’t pass up on the opportunity to purchase and import this “time capsule” of Toyota Land Cruiser history. This vehicle is a great addition to any collection. The originality and low mileage makes this one of the rarest 40’s in the United States today.

One-Owner, Very Original Condition

This BJ41 is confirmed to be a one-owner, well-maintained vehicle. The photos show the condition and tell the story. The body is nearly perfect with the exception of a small bit of previous repair in the rear by the driver tail light. The interior is immaculate! There’s a small tear in the bottom side of the drivers seat cover, but otherwise it looks like it left the factory yesterday. This BJ41 has the optional rear heater, rear jumpseats and the very rare factory air conditioning. It also has the original split-rim wheels, and vintage tires. Also included is a stack of original documentation and paperwork.

Everything works on this BJ41, including the air conditioning which was recharged with original R12. It has the original factory radio as well as a secondary Kenwood deck installed by the original owner. Speakers were also installed in the rear cabin by the original owner. The odometer shows 64,811 original KM’s (40,271 miles), and the service records included with the vehicle verify that as the original mileage. It runs and drives great, like a nearly new 40 series should.

BJ41 Drivetrain

The 40 series is a legendary platform known for toughness and reliability. This BJ41 is similar to the units available in the US except for its 2B diesel engine and low gear transmission. The 2B is a 3168cc inline 4-cylinder 8-valve OHV diesel engine. Compression ratio is 21:1 with output being 93HP at 2200RPM and 159 ft-lb of torque at 2200RPM. This engine was only available in JDM BJ41’s, JDM BJ44’s and the JDM Coaster (Toyota’s small bus platform) making this a rare collectible Land Cruiser. The transmission is an H41 4-speed which is geared lower than the standard 4-speeds available with US spec 40 series Land Cruisers. This BJ41 has an ultra-low 5.29:1 first gear! The 2-speed transfer case has a low range of 1.959:1. The axles are the same as the US spec 40 series, 9.25″ ring gear, open differential with 4.11:1 gear ratio.
