1964 FJ40 Toyota Land Cruiser (Destin’s frame off restoration)

Here is a wonderful red 1964 FJ40 Toyota Land Cruiser rebuild and restoration story courtesy of Destin over on the IH8MUD forum. (click here for the full restoration thread) 

I was drawn to this story many times when frustration set in working on my own FJ40..I also love the fact that Destin uses this rig to set out and hit all the beautiful locations in lovely coastal Oregon! ( A funny coincidence  since I imported my rig from Glide Oregon to Sacramento CA in 2010!)

Let me say that I admire the painstaking attention to detail and the amazing workmanship that Destin put into his rig between 7/2009 & 7/2011…the final results are very impressive and so high quality.
