Volcan 4×4 imports restored 1978 Toyota FJ43 soft top

Volcan 4×4, based in Tampa, Florida and Medellin, Colombia is pleased to announce it just sourced, restored and imported its fifth FJ43 from Colombia and our most original FJ43 to date.

Please meet “Marina” named after “Azul Marina” which is what the Colombians call Toyota color code 854 or Sky Blue.

This is an extremely original 1978 FJ43 and a very important find for classic Land Cruiser enthusiasts.  The truck was owned from new for three decades by a Colombian doctor.  Mileage is believed to be 113,000 miles.

Volcan 4×4 performed a several month sympathetic frame on restoration including paint, new soft top, custom floormats and a thorough mechanical review.

Some of the original details on this truck include:

100% original interior including the sun visors

Original Toyota glass

Original Toyota tool set and tire jack

Original Toyota radio delete plate

All body panels and floors appear to be original without a dent or even a scratch

All original weather stripping
