Toyota FJ40 production began in 1960 and continued through 1984. Over those 24 years, the FJ 40 remained largely unchanged as the formula remained successful: Small, maneuverable, reliable and rugged. As such, the FJ40 was quickly embraced by the 4X4 community. These trucks continue to live on, and 4 wheel drive enthusiasts go to great lengths to keep them on the road. Some purists restore them to bone stock while others implement all sorts of available modifications. This is a 1981 Toyota FJ40 soft top for consideration. 1981 was good year for the FJ40 as it featured the desirable 4 speed transmission with floor shift.
