The vehicle was legally imported from Bogota, Colombia in 2019.1983 Toyota Land Cruiser BJ43 – Diesel finished in Medium Blue – RARE RARE RARE – This amazing Diesel unit was Imported from Bogota, Colombia after an extensive body off frame restoration in Dec 2019. The frame, body was taken to bare metal. While in Colombia a little over a year ago on the search for a good candidate for restoration I purchased a 1972 FJ43. This was sitting at the restoration shop started but not completed. For unknown reasons the original owner was unable to finish the project which was a perfect opportunity to get my hands on one. It was completed in late 2019 and transported to Barranquilla and subsequently shipped to the Port of Philadelphia. I have all documents. It has since been titled in PA and is ready to go. Nothing was left untouched. The Restoration Specialist is a true Land Cruiser enthusiast and eats, lives, sleeps Land Cruisers. This is one of many he has done and he did an amazing job with it.- Original 2977cc diesel engine completely refurbished as was the 4 speed transmission, rears, transmission and transfer case.- Brand new original seats, canvas top – correct for the year- Original split wheels wrapped in brand new tires- 4 speed transmission shifts like new- Odometer currently reads 104 kilometers. This vehicle looks the way it did when it pulled off the showroom floor. It runs, drives and smells like a brand new vehicle.
