This 1982 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ43 was imported to the US from Colombia and underwent a cosmetic refurbishment before being acquired by the seller on BaT in August 2019. Finished in red with a tan soft top over black vinyl, the truck is powered by a 4.2-liter 2F inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. Modifications include an Old Man Emu lift, 33″ mud-terrain tires, an aftermarket Pioneer stereo, and a Vintage Air HVAC system. This FJ43 is now offered with a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
The body was reportedly replaced from the firewall back with a replica steel tub as well as custom-fabricated side and rear doors prior to a repaint in red by the previous owner. Features include a canvas soft top with roll-up sides, LED lighting, a hi-lift jack mounted to the front bumper, and a winch plate.
Gray-finished 15” steel wheels wear chrome hubcaps and 33″ BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A tires that show 2018 date codes. The truck is equipped with power-assisted steering and brakes, manually-locking front hubs, and a matching spare on the swing-away carrier at the rear.
The interior features a split front bench seat upholstered in black vinyl. The seller has added three-point seat belts, and other features include an aftermarket Pioneer stereo and a Vintage Air HVAC system.
A three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-km/h speedometer that houses a five-digit odometer showing 272 kilometers (~169 miles), though total mileage is unknown.
The rear cargo area features inward-facing folding troop seats upholstered in black vinyl as well as a gray rubber floor mat.
The 4.2-liter 2F straight-six sends power to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. An oil change was performed earlier this year.
A stainless-steel exhaust system has been fitted from the manifold back, and additional underside photos can be seen in the gallery below.
