It has been completely restored. It has been taken off the frame, the motor has been rebuilt, and it currently has about 2000 miles on it. The original emissions function correctly, and the vehicle runs extremely well. There is an 8000lb Warn winch and functioning A/C. This is a very cool 1974 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ-40. This is a second owner rig purchased from Reno (Nevada) Toyota, in 1976. Of interest is this is equipped with the “better” F-engine (F-and-a-half) and four speed transmission and has the dealer applied stripe kit. It retains the blue and gold California license plates of that era.

Vehicle Description: 1971 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 series with all body parts taken apart, sand blasted and immediately primed for better rust protection (primed, sealed and painted with high quality paint), in fact ¾ of the body is new due that the original one was not worthy to repair. The whole frame was sand blasted and immediately primed and painted with Professional black color to give it a nice finish. Undercarriage was completely black rubberized undercoated to prevent even more rust issues.
