This Rare 1981 BJ40 diesel Toyota Land Cruiser Restoration was completed in late 1980. VIN, frame # engine #0355476, and chassis # BJ400464415 are verified. Original vintage condition – Survivor / Restoration. The paint is a lovely classic matte/satin mustard, single-stage. The body is very straight, aligned, and in the proper order (unlike many 40 cruisers). It’s beautiful, easy to service, and fuel-efficient – 25-30 miles a gallon. 1970 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser High Level – Museum Quality Restoration U.S. Spec, numbers matching, original condition specimen, purchased from original owner, with only 116K miles. All restored original drivetrain components: F155 engine, 3 speed transmission with column shift, drum brakes front and rear, leaf springs, vacuum transfer case, steering box, steering knuckles, and extremely rare original dealer supplied power take off/driveshaft operated PTO winch. The entire vehicle was disassembled, and all chassis components were sandblasted and powder-coated, including frame, axle housings, winch, steering linkages, skid plate, brake backing plates, driveshafts, steering knuckles, and differential housings. This rare 1977 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ43 LWB has undergone a complete nut and bolt restoration. Every inch of this car has been carefully restored to its original factory specifications. Inspired by the modern day driver, we added a few upgrades while still respecting the originality of the car, including OEM Power Steering, Front OEM Disk Brakes, and a Vintage Air A/C and Heating Unit.
