This vehicle is for sale over at Brazelton Auto 1985 TOYOTA LAND CRUISER HJ47 Registered as an ’85, this is one of the last of the 40-series Land Cruisers ever built, with production of the model ending in October of 1984. Since its original purchase in San Jose, Costa Rica, this steadfast and loyal truck served its owner on trips to the grocery store and church, racking up trivial mileage on its bulletproof engine. This beautiful, super rare diesel Toyota Land Cruiser was made in Japan with a complete frame on restoration that was completed 1/31/19. I have some pics of the process that I can send to anyone who requests to see them.This awesome cruiser has the bullet proof B Diesel engine that is known to last to 500,000 and gets a great gas mileage of approx 33mpg. 1970 FJ-40 Toyota Land Cruiser (Frame-Off Restoration)
My god…this is one beautiful FJ40…well done..maybe one of the finest we have ever seen…Fashion Green/ Grey on a 7 Year Rotisserie Restoration! This matching numbers FJ-40 was rescued from the Nevada desert in amazingly original condition. It was complete and unmolested, right down to the original factory hose clamps. The truck was completely disassembled and underwent a restoration that was completed in September of 2013. The entire powertrain was completely rebuilt reusing the restored original components such as the alternator, carburetor and starter.
