1977 FJ43 Toyota Land Cruiser (frame off restoration)
This rare 1977 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ43 LWB has undergone a complete nut and bolt restoration. Every inch of this car has been carefully restored to its original factory specifications. Inspired by the modern day driver, we added a few upgrades while still respecting the originality of the car, including OEM Power Steering, Front OEM Disk Brakes, and a Vintage Air A/C and Heating Unit. This 2 door, long-wheelbase FJ43 was repainted in its original Freeborn Red 309 color. The soft top was tailor-made using marine grade fabric, with an additional bikini top for a top-down, open air ride. Under the hood, the original 4,230cc OHV Inline 6-Cylinder Engine was remanufactured to…

Ultra-rare Toyota Land Cruiser FJ45LV (station wagon model)
Repost from motor1.com Early Toyota Land Cruisers have become hugely collectable in recent years. Indeed, the best ones are worth considerably more than the equivalent Land Rover, its great rival. The FJ Company has tapped into the interest surrounding those early, FJ40-series Land Cruisers, turning out beautifully restored examples of the breed. Including this ultra-rare FJ45LV station wagon model. It’s one of the rarest FJ40 models produced, and only around 1000 FJ45LVs were imported to the United States – it’s likely only a small handful survive. A Montana-based enthusiast bought this particular example many years ago with the intention or restoring it. He spent a decade acquiring every original part…

This beautiful rig is brought to you by Volcan 4X4. Volcan 4×4 is a specialty classic 4×4 auto dealership and restoration company based in Tampa, Florida & Medellín, Colombia. It gives the process some kind of human quality and their affection for these classic Land Cruisers really shines through in the work that they do. “Our 1979 Zafiro is our 7th FJ43 and we were very fortunate to have sourced a rare combination of later series 1979 FJ43 and the gorgeous code 854 color. 1979 FJ55 Toyota Land Cruiser (The Iron Pig)
The Toyota FJ55 Land Cruiser was the first station wagon 4×4 built by the Japanese marque offering seating for up to 7 adults depending on internal configuration. The original prototype for Toyota’s first 4×4 came thanks to a Willys Jeep that the Japanese found in the Philippines during WWII. The vehicle was sent back to Japan, shortly thereafter the Japanese military commissioned Toyota to build an almost identical vehicle. In the post-WWII years this 4×4 was evolved into the FJ40 series on up to the FJ55 series, with the latter staying in production from 1967 till 1980 – when it was replaced with the less divisively designed J60 series. Toyota fitted its…

Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 1970 (one original owner)
I love the patina on this 1970 Toyota Land Cruiser…to me this is what a land cruiser that you plan on using should look like…a trail blazer…love it! This sweetheart is currently for sale on Ebay. One owner, bought new 1970 in CA, still have much of the original paperwork, books, manuals, receipts, original tool kit, jack etc. Spent about 4k recently to bring it back out of the garage and to back to public eye. Still have all the original parts that were replaced and still have about 2k worth of new OEM parts that go with it. Runs and drives great, very very original and not ever hacked…
