1977 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40
Very nice, restored FJ40. 2F motor (believed to be original), pulled and fully rebuilt less than 5k miles ago. Odometer reads 60,573, but actual mileage unknown. Loads of parts recently replaced, including brand new radiator, clutch kit, brake master cylinder, rebuilt carb, resealed transfer case, brake hoses, hard top seals, many wiring enhancements, seals. Old Man Emu springs, and new Old Man Emu shocks and steering stabilizer. No leaks. Passed California emissions! Tuffy center console, working original heater, newer tires. Mechanical work performed at Custom Cruisers FJ40 in Gilroy, CA. Very few tweaks left to complete one of the nicest, original FJ40s around.

1965 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 (frame off restoration)
Just completed in time for Christmas, a Full Nut & Bolt Frame Off Restoration. This early model FJ40 is a rare, collector’s item equipped with parts that are nearly impossible to find. When this FJ40 was purchased from the Toyota dealership it was one of the few who the customer opted for a hardtop with corrugated side panels. The back end features small swing-out doors with a unique, rear hatch that can be pushed up and folded horizontally — the only foldable version available on these models. 1978 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser Frame off restoration
LOVE THE MUSTARD!!! 1978, the last year of the classic round bezel and most sought after in those models. The restoration started with a cosmetic overhaul after all mechanical checks and maintenance. The whole truck was torn down piece by piece and attended to. The rear tub was replaced with an aluminum aqualu tub upgrade ($5000)……no worries of ever rusting! (The FJ tubs were susceptible to rust especially at the rocker panels and rear quarters due to poor quality sheet metal.) All new Toyota OEM replacements were used when available. Here is a very nice 1980 Land Cruiser. It has low miles and is in excellent condition. It has factory power steering, new tires, rims, upholstery, fuel tank and fuel system related , and any and all other small parts that didn’t measure up or showed wear.
